Campus Ministry among Oromo Speaking Student
Campus Ministry among Oromo Speaking Students in Oromia region of Ethiopia is amazingly growing. Our Church is very encouraged to be a part of such a dynamic growing ministry. Dr. Belay Olam, the president of the Oromo International Student Fellowship (OIC) says, “We are thankful to the Almighty Lord for all his good deeds. We are indeed blessed. Our OIC (Oromo International Christian Students Fellowship) has grown to over 60 campuses. The work of the Spirit among our youth is incredible—we cannot comprehend it. Every direction has become much more than we can coordinate. High school and even the elementary Oromo youth are very much moved. For example we have over twenty-five well organized fellowships in the City of Neqemte alone.”
